Meet Our Team
Ryan Hailstones (owner and guide)
Competitive bodysurfer, Competitive paddleboard racer, Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR Certified. Ryan’s family first moved to Hawaii in 1951. Growing up in Hawaii, he quickly adapted to the ocean and outdoors lifestyle. He started wave riding quickly after he was walking and developed a passion and understanding for Hawaii’s beautiful ocean. With his roots planted deep in the rich soil of Hawaii, he developed a connection to the land and the local food he eats and prepares. His favorite thing to do lately besides leading adventure tours on Oahu, is coaching his daughter Mahina for surfing. If he's not guiding a tour, he is looking for the best waves on the island to take his daughter surfing in.
Beccy Hailstones
Competitive paddleboard racer Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR Certified, 200-hour registered yoga teacher, ACE certified personal fitness trainer & sports conditioning specialist, Certified Nutritional Health Coach. Beccy was born and raised in Southern California. At the age of 18, she decided to move to Hawaii to pursue her dreams of being a water woman. She found a passion with stand up paddling, and turned it into a competitive career. She gained sponsors quickly and won many racing and paddle surfing championships. She met Ryan at the peak of her paddling career. They fell in love, got married and had a beautiful daughter named Mahina. Shortly after, they merged their passions together to create Mahina Hawaii Adventures.
